Writing words of hope and redemption for the brokenhearted
About
ABOUT LESLIE
Leslie writes with hope and grace, offering encouragement to the hurting or discouraged reader. She knows life is hard (and sometimes excruciatingly painful) and spontaneously quotes Job when he said, "The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD" (Job 1:21).
In spite of living in a broken world, Leslie is thankful to be known by the God who sustains, rescues, encourages, forgives, and loves. She hopes to point others to Him and His goodness through her writing. She strives to display the comfort of Jesus' words in John 16:33b: "In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Leslie is a lifelong Missourian, born in St. Louis and living in the suburbs ever since. (Go, Cards!) Married to her partner-in-crime, Scott, they raised four children together and thoroughly enjoy their newest roles as Nana and Pops.
If she’s not playing with her grandbaby or reading a good book, Leslie enjoys creating through a variety of media, primarily the written word, crocheting, and quilting. In the warmer months, she may be playing in the dirt, establishing her native flower garden.
